We submitted 6 client work entries into this year's Graphic Design USA Health + Wellness Awards. We have been fortunate enough to work with multiple business within the healthcare industry. Clients include community health centers, clinic, private practices, healthcare startups, and fitness centers. These clients are primarily Webflow website projects and logo design clients. Healthcare Webflow websites play a large role in the lives of many, providing resources, contact information, products, and appointment scheduling that allow members of the community to better their health and improve their quality of life.

This year, Graphic Design USA as an organization saw a record 3,500 entries in its annual Health + Wellness Awards. As with each Graphic Design USA award season, only the top 10% of submissions were selected as a winner.

GD USA Award winning entries

Of the six projects submitted into the GD USA Health + Wellness awards, Red Shark Digital was awarded individual awards for three of its entries.

Healthcare Webflow Website - Agape Health Services

Agape Health Services is a multi-location Community Health Center service Beaufort and Martin County by providing access to affordable, professional health care for the communities within its region. When commissioning Red Shark Digital to build its new website, Agape Health Services requested that the new site showcase their locations, services, new patient information, careers, and more. Patients at Agape Health Services now have opportunity to make appointments and access their Patient Portal information with ease.

As far as design, the site utilizes the Agape Health Services brand colors green, purple, golden yellow, and white. The build took Red Shark Digital six weeks, and the healthcare website was built on Webflow using Figma for design and prototyping.

SentryTell - Age In Place Technology Website

SentryTell, an age-in-place technology start-up, contacted Red Shark Digital early in the seed phase of their venture, commissioning Red Shark Digital for its logo design and Webflow e-commerce design.

SentryTell provides motion-based monitoring of seniors and physically challenged residents, allowing their caretakers to know they are up, active, and safe while maintaining their independence and privacy.

With technology focused on protecting seniors aging in place, the SentryTell website was aimed at both seniors and their loved ones shopping on their behalf. With a custom, build-your-own-kit shopping experience, we were able to both educate and convert users on the value, safety, and quality of the SentryTell product suite.

The SentryTell website offers a clean, user-friendly, technology e-commerce structure and flow, layering in the SentryTell color pallet anchored to healthcare’s most common colors, light and dark blue, light gray, and white.

Fitness Branding & Identity - Rebel Fitness Boxing Gym

As a client of Red Shark Digital for a separate business, the owner of Rebel Fitness came to Red Shark Digital before beginning their journey of introducing a new boxing gym to eastern North Carolina.

Rebel Fitness was the name selected, with an already decided, fitting tagline of “Join The Movement.” The owner of the newly formed business had a clear direction of an urban, graffiti-inspired logo design using bright, in-your-face color choices.

With this direction in mind, our team didn’t waste any time creating this large, graffiti writing word mark that packs a punch (all pun intended), combining the mark with colors of neon green and purple to exemplify the large personality of the brand. Today, the Rebel Fitness logo is used on punching bags, print materials, environmental signage, digital media, apparel, and everything in between.

While the Rebel Fitness e-commerce Webflow website itself did not win in the Graphic Design USA awards, it is a winner in ours and our client’s eyes.
