Introducing Brett:

Hi! My name is Brett Pennington. This semester, I will be working at Red Shark as a digital marketing intern. I’m in my junior year at East Carolina University, majoring in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Art focusing on Graphic Design. During my free time, you can find me creating a new playlist or at the thrift store. I have always found myself intrigued by both art and technology and in touch with the digital world, which is what lead me to this exciting opportunity.

I’ve spent the past year working for Student Media’s Advertising and Marketing Agency. This experience has provided me with both the hard and soft skills I’ll need to advance in this career field. This semester, I will further my experience with Student Media working as a designer for the campus newspaper, The East Carolinian.

I’m eager to further my knowledge in branding, web design and development, UI/UX design, and SEO. I hope to grasp a better understanding of how an agency operates while producing effective results. I’m certain that I will thrive in this atmosphere. Needless to say, I look forward to my future endeavors with Red Shark Digital.
