What's up, guys! I am Christina, the newest Copywriting Intern at Red Shark Digital, the most fantastic NC marketing agency! I was born and raised in Kernersville, NC. I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from East Carolina University in 2022 Cum Laude. After taking a semester off, I decided to continue my education in business. I am currently a second-year Master of Business Administration student at ECU College of Business. After starting my MBA journey, I realized marketing was a passion of mine when I became a Graduate Assistant (GA). As a GA, I focused mainly on graphic design and social media promotion, which allowed me to use my creativity as an asset. I enjoy a lot of things life has to offer. Some of these things on this list inspired me to go on LinkedIn and look up a Digital Marketing agency North Carolina in my internship search.

The Gym

When I graduated from undergrad, I realized my freshman 15 was actually a college 80. I started looking up those motivational gym TikToks and hit the gym! I started lifting weights and doing cardio and have lost over 100+ pounds! Now, I go to the gym regularly and drink a protein shake every day. So I think I am considered a certified gym rat.

Art

I enjoy painting or drawing when I am not working or working out. My most recent art project was turning Demon Slayer Characters into my favorite Black Superheros! I guess my great artistic ability helped me land an internship at this amazing NC marketing agency!

Food

Even though I am health conscious now, I still enjoy delicious food. I like visiting local restaurants that serve unique foods or have that home-cooked meal vibe. I also occasionally send my friends personal food reviews like I am Keith Lee. LOL!

Music

Music has always been a significant part of my life, from playing the drums after church to being on my high school drumline. I also played the tenor saxophone from sixth grade to 12th grade. I also enjoy different genres of music, including country, R&B, gospel, and, of course, rap. The main type of music artists I listen to is underground SoundCloud rappers. It is low-key a flex when I can say I have listened to an artist since the beginning (Future, Playboi Carti, and Travis Scott). Also, I think I could be a ghostwriter for a side hustle.

My dislike list is pretty short since life is good. But here is my list of dislikes.

Musicals

While I do enjoy music and appreciate the arts, I do not like musicals or musicals turned into movies. Personally, if I am watching a movie, I strictly watch it for the plot; I feel like there is no need to sing about it! The only musicals I enjoy are The Color Purple, Dreamgirls, and Grease. Besides those… NO! Sorry, Hamilton fans.

DMV lines

I know everyone hates the long DMV lines, and I do, too! A little tip: go around 10 a.m.-1 p.m. when people are working. I did that once, and I was only there for 20 minutes! Speaking of government departments, during my time in undergrad, I interned at the Pitt County District Attorney's Office and I hope during my internship at Red Shark Digital, a digital advertising agency Greenville,NC, I get the chance to work with other government departments during this marketing journey.

Pickles

As a foodie, I can not get into pickles. I can eat other pickled foods, but dill pickles are not it! I personally think it is the pickle's strong taste and texture for me.
