Hi everyone! My name is Michelle, I’ll be one of the awesome fall digital marketing interns here at Red Shark. As I’m entering my last semester at ECU as a communications major the feeling is bittersweet...mostly sweet. Mainly because I’ve been driving back and forth from the Raleigh area to Greenville on a daily basis. Please don’t ask me how I do it, because I really have no idea.

Three fun facts about me are that, I love Harry Potter with all my heart, I love ALL animals (especially the cute, baby ones), and that I have previous modeling and acting experience. One of my cooler experiences that I have had was when I had to go to New York with a famous Bachata artist named Froilan Jay to make a music video. My team and I stayed there for three days just filming during the day and going out at night, and it was just fun because at the time it was nothing that I had ever done before. I think because of that I’m a lot more comfortable in front of a camera than I used to be. That’s a good thing, right?

I’m also originally from Venezuela, but I have lived in North Carolina my whole life, however keeping in touch with my Hispanic roots has definitely not been an issue. I’ll totally listen to some Justin Bieber, Carlos Vives, and Bad Bunny all back to back and be super cool with it. Also, if you have not tried arepas, you are missing out on an entire food group.

So that’s a little bit about me, other than that, I am really excited to learn all about digital marketing, SEO, UI/UX. Since I have previous experience at a public relations firm, I’ll be able to bring that here. That can be in the form of blog writing, social media planning, and others. With that being said, I look forward to new learning experiences here at Red Shark Digital!
