My name is David Basinger and I am the newest intern here at Red Shark Digital. I am a senior studying Marketing at ECU. I am originally from northern Virginia and it has taken me a long while to figure out what I wanted in a career. Most recently, I worked as a manager for an upscale barbershop here in Greenville. I received valuable experience in cultivating lasting relationships with clients as well as creating materials directed at promoting the shop. I am eager to gain a deeper understanding of digital marketing techniques.

While I was deciding what to study, I found a passion for Marketing. I am intrigued by the dynamic nature of the industry. Marketing is always evolving and there is a constant flow of challenges to take on. I am specifically interested in content creation. It is extremely important to understand and describe a product or service’s value to the consumer.

On a personal note, I have an interest in food and photography, (those are not mutually exclusive.) I get easily lost down the rabbit hole YouTube tutorials for both of these hobbies. I enjoy preparing and plating all of my dishes. I am always looking to photograph a new perspective. I am partial to urban and nature photography. I love the idea of creative expression and I showcase my passions on social media. I am hoping to learn a lot about photo and video editing with the design team here at Red Shark.
