Hello, my name is Makayla! I feel proud to be brought onto the team at Red Shark Digital advertising agency. As a senior at East Carolina University, I was seeking an internship with digital marketing Greenville NC. I am currently pursuing my studies in journalism but found a niche with creative content after fulfilling a summer internship with a digital marketing agency in Raleigh. For my senior year, I wanted to expand my knowledge so I searched digital marketing near me and discovered Red Shark Digital!

About Me

I am from a small town in central Massachusetts, where it takes about fifteen minutes to drive through the entire town while passing four different Dunkin’ Donuts. Growing up, I adored living only 30 minutes from Boston and spending my summers in the Cape Cod and Camden Maine. However, my family relocated to the Raleigh area during my junior year of high school, which is how I discovered my way to East Carolina University. Moving at the age of 16 was a hard transition but being involved in dance made the transition much easier. I taught myself how to adapt to new situations, environments, and challenges by forcing myself to step out of my comfort zone. I gained the mindset of chasing new opportunities, which was beneficial when seeking a digital marketing internship.

I am a huge pirate fan and love to get involved with my community. I take part in greek life on campus and you can find me at any of the ECU games. I am a social butterfly with a creative mind, which is why I am fascinated by creative content and marketing.
